Consider the environment – use natural cleaning materials

Light oak furniture looks great in every home, but it needs to be looked after properly. Whether you have a wooden desktop, or a cabinet, coffee table or wooden chairs, using lemon tree oil is the way to go. Lemon oil helps protect the wood, along with giving a beautiful look to wooden furniture. It has many uses, and can be used on finished and unfinished wood.

Lemon oil can help remove stains on wood furniture, along with preventing cracking on your wood.  So, cleaning wood furniture is quite simple, it’s just knowing which products to use. More good reasons to use lemon oil – it will also give your furniture a nice scent as well! Take a feather duster. If there’s a lot of dust on your wooden furniture, dust it off first or use a vacuum instead. (If it’s a sideboard or wardrobe that’s been down in your basement for a while you’ll probably need a vacuum, especially if it has cobwebs all over it).

Pick a lemon oil to use. If you want to make a recipe, you can but you want to pick a product that contains real lemon oil. Be sure that it does, so before picking an oil here’s a few lemon oils to choose.

  • Lemon Oil: Can be used on wall panelling, doors, and kitchen cabinets. According to the directions, best only to use once or twice a year on tabletops or desks.
  • Old English Lemon Oil furniture polish: Can be used against all natural woods.
  • Natural Lemon Oil polish: This oil can be real useful for picnic benches, or wooden furniture out-of-doors. It contains a sunscreen protector.

How to apply the oil:

  • Take a dry rag and apply about a tablespoon of lemon oil but don’t use too much .
  • Then wipe the entire surface of the furniture until it gives you that nice and shiny look to it. If you have any watermark stains on your wood furniture, you might need to apply some other cleaning products. Some simple steps include:
  • Take some baking soda, and a little salt.
  • Sprinkle it on the stain. Take an old toothbrush. Dip it into warm water. Try brushing out the stain. Then wipe it with some lemon oil.
  • Using real toothpaste can help remove stains as well. Just take a little toothpaste, add it to the stain, then brush it.

Always use coasters to help prevent scratches on the wood, especially on high value items such as wooden desks for home.

Hydrogen for Cars – Build Your Own Hydrogen Generator Car

hydrogen car
Richard Legg asked:

e one of the many people who are looking to make some savings on gasoline, or are trying to find ways to increase gas mileage, then you have probably heard talk of hydrogen for cars and ways to build your own hydrogen generator car. And if you are anything like me, you probably thought that it all sounded ridiculous and a bit Sci Fi.

I first heard about hydrogen for cars a few months ago, and even though I was very skeptical about the whole thing I was so desperate to find ways to increase gas mileage for my car that I decided to do some research. Not only did I find out that building a hydrogen generator car is quite simple, I also found that you can actually buy “hydrogen car kits” with all the equipment needed to covert ordinary cars into hydrogen fuel cars.

Not only are there hydrogen car kits available on the market but you can also buy complete instruction manuals and guides that will show you step-by-step how to build your own hydrogen generator car. With simple parts that you can buy at your local garage or auto store and just some basic mechanical knowledge, it is possible for anyone to turn their cars into hydrogen fuel cars.

So how does a hydrogen generator car work?

In very simple terms these hydrogen fuel cars consist of a small container or vessel of water located under the hood of you car, added to this is a catalyst such as baking soda, and some stainless steel plates. These parts together with a few others are then wired up to your cars battery, which provides the electrical energy needed to power the whole thing.

Once all of this is installed in the correct way and is up and running it is possible to extract Hydrogen Oxygen (HHO) from the water with the use of electrolysis (a process where electricity is used to change water into HHO). This hydrogen gas is then taken into the airflow of the inlet manifold of your car; here it is mixed with the regular gasoline from your fuel tank and burnt in your engine in the usual manner.

As this mixture of gasoline and HHO burns a lot more efficiently and smoothly, it greatly improves your engine performance so giving you better fuel economy. In some cases a report of a 50% increase in MPG has been achieved. It has also been claimed that you get a more powerful response from your engine as well as a smoother ride.

It would seem that building your own hydrogen generator car is not only fairly simple, it is also very affordable. With all the parts needed available at your local garage for $100 or less, and with a host of instructional guides to show you exactly how to go about it, hydrogen fuel cars are definitely the way ahead for anyone looking for ways to increase gas mileage. So why not check it out for yourself, all it takes is a bit of research.
