In What Way Can Turning Off Your Lights Help The Environment

When we discuss about helping your environment, we are concern with the too much pollution of our environment. Helping our environment relates to the efficient utilization of home electricity. The most economical way of helping your environment is probably just by turning off your lights when not needed.. Let us find out how lighting management could affect our environment.

First of all, let us agree that by using non-renewable energy fuel to generate power is causing pollution to our environment. The next thing is that the black smoke and the carbon dioxide that are being produced from gasoline fuel are the major causes of greenhouse effect resulting to the global warming of our planet. Natural gas, coal, oil, and gasoline are examples of non-renewable energy sources. These fossil fuels raise the carbon dioxide level in the earth’s atmosphere which causes the greenhouse effect and the global warming. Such increase in our earth’s temperature is enough to alter the balance of nature.

The recent strong typhoons, flash flooding and landslides around the world are side effects of the melting of huge icebergs from the North and South Pole. These worldwide disasters are caused by the global warming of the earth. We all know that global warming is the increase in both ocean and land temperature. It is about time you and I stop the warming up our planet.

Turning off lights could lessen the demand in electric power generation. The reduction of unnecessary heat from each individual lessens the temperature of the globe. It means also we are reducing the burning of fossil fuel thus limiting the emission of air pollutants to our environment. Using your lights efficiently at home and at the office could also cut your electricity bill.

It is a given fact that non-renewable energy sources can never be replaced in our lifetime. The quicker we burn our fossil fuels, the more pressure is being imposed on the entire global economy.  These non-replaceable energy resources requires preservation management plan from every countries in the world. It is a universal responsibility for each and every one of us to help preserve our natural resources.

It is a known fact that utilization of the fossil fuel pollutes the air we breathe in. It is a health hazard to everybody.. Scientists from all over the world also believe that the recent strong typhoons and heavy rain falls are due to the increase in temperature of our lands air surface and ocean waters. The suggested solution on how we could preserve and clean our environment is to follow an energy-efficiency home program. I strongly believe that we could truly help our environment by just turning off lights when not in used.. Let us save our planet while it is possible.
